Jessica Simpson defriends Tony Romo on Facebook

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have not been a couple for six months. And now, they aren’t “friends” either.

The voluptuous singer defriended the Dallas quarterback on Facebook this weekend, just a week after his Cowboys were trounced 34-3 by the Vikings in the NFL playoffs.

No more super poking for the pair.

This pair won't be super poking each other anytime soon.

Romo allegedly discovered he wasn’t connected to Simpson anymore when he wanted to write her that he couldn’t blame another playoff defeat on her presence.

Romo updated his status Sunday, saying he “can screw anybody I want so I could care less about others leaving my FB nest.”

Simpson, who isn’t exactly tech savvy – her first 15 updates on Twitter were “tweet” – received help from her loving father and manager Joe to nix the Facebook connection.

Joe did not enjoy "Jennifer's Body," but he sure like's Jessica's.

“I won’t confirm it, but I won’t deny it either,” he said. “Tony broke my girl’s heart.”

Joe Simpson added that his daughter’s heart is right over her left breast, which is “a tad larger” than her right breast.

Jessica, who has 4,999 friends on Facebook, now has room for one more. That one might be Billy Corgan of the Smashing Pumpkins, who she allegedly began dating after collaborating with him in the music studio. Corgan does not presently have a Facebook profile.

Simpson, who was denied an audition for “Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader,” refused to discuss specifics about her Facebook profile.

“I would love to see more people embrace social networking,” said Simpson, who lists herself as a fan of Buffalo Wings on the site. “I think it’s way more fun than antisocial non-networking.”

Joe Simpson, who is only Facebook friends with his oldest daughter, lists himself as a fan of Hooters and Jessica Simpson’s Boobs.

“I want to make sure that nobody is putting anything bad on there,” he explained. “I’m doing it in defense of her breasts.”

Corgan, who was writing music for Simpson, was unavailable for comment. Their first collaboration is rumored to be a melancholy pop song.
